The Clipper World Tour main sponsor is Qcify, innovator for automated quality control for nuts

The Clipper World Tour will be traveling around the planet to tell the most interesting stories about nuts and dried fruit production and trade – with an innovative approach to B2B communication using podcasts, videos and social storytelling. Innovators, entrepreneurs, scientists will tell their stories on location – from Australia to Chile. QCIFY, leader in the field of automated quality control and autosamplers for the nuts and dried fruit industry has chosen to be the main sponsor of the tour. Qcify will co-host a series of podcasts, video and text reports that will be created during the tour.

Raf Peeters, Founder and CEO of Qcify

“At Qcify we’ve always worked around future-focused innovation whether through the development of our automated quality control systems or the collaboration with teams that share this vision. Therefore it was an easy decision to join the AgroPress team as a main partner on their Clipper World Tour journey. We look forward to great storytelling, info sharing and meeting lots of people in the nut and dried fruit industry”, says Raf Peeters, Founder and CEO of Qcify.

Qcify was presented with the Innovation Award during the 2017 INC World Nut Congress in Chennai, India. The award recognizes new ideas and innovative approaches within the industry. The company received the award for its product, Quality Inspection System (QiS), released in Q4 of 2016. Qcify is the first company to develop and commercially launch a dedicated quality control system to the nut and dried fruit industry.

„The world of nuts and dried fruit is extremely interesting and diverse. As the leading industry magazine we have chosen to take our reporting to the next level and tell the stories with a personal touch from where the action is – the orchard, the packing house, the chocolate factory, the retail store…We are extremely proud that innovative companies like Qcify have adopted the concept“, says Axel Breuer, CEO of AgroPress and publisher of the Clipper Magazine.

Companies and Associations can still apply to sponsor the world tour and be part of the reporting that takes place throughout the year from selected locations. Australia, Chile, Peru, South Africa and the U.S. are currently on the tour’s itinerary.

Among the topics:
1. How – and how not to do marketing for healthy snacks.
